Biography

Jared Cutler
Founder & Chief Executive | Five Factor Capital Advisors

Jared Cutler is the founder and chief executive officer of Five Factor Capital Advisors. He is a seasoned fee-only, independent financial planner and investment advisor focused on helping individual investors and their families realize their financial goals. Jared works with clients to build efficient portfolios based on the principles of Modern Portfolio Theory that overlay their financial goals with the science of capital markets.

Jared brings the scientific expertise gained through a thirteen-year career in finance and wealth management. He began as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch’s Global Private Client Group. As his career progressed, he began to realize that his belief in low-cost disciplined investing was at odds with the traditional brokerage model that enabled speculation, not investing. In 2008, Jared accepted an offer to become Head of Investments and Wealth Management at Conrad Capital, an independent boutique investment advisory firm. At Conrad Capital, Jared was instrumental in implementing a disciplined wealth management solution grounded in decades of academic research that simplified the investment process for clients.

Determined to build a firm from the ground up that put the interests of its clients above all else, while practicing financial planning and investment management with integrity and ethics, Jared founded Five Factor Capital Advisors in 2012. Throughout his career Jared has become a trusted advisor to a diverse group of individuals and families, including business executives, physicians, attorneys, engineers, and many others. His clients are located in the tri-state area and across the United States.

Mr. Cutler holds a B.A. in Business Administration with dual concentration in Finance and Management from the University of Arizona. He resides in Westchester County, New York with his wife Carly and young son Benjamin.
